Yes, or use footers that are taller directly against the chassis.

But, whatever you do, make sure you still have a way of levelling the deck.

For turntables, I'd recommend springs, not rubber or BR. Chris's warning about levelling still applies.

That OC9 should give you a substantial upgrade compared to the at95, well worth looking out for a suitable step up, imo.

Now have replaced the JVC with my new toy ( Pro-Ject 2xperience) and properly set up the celestions and the difference is night and day. Using the Sony receiver the clarity from the speakers over all the others is astonishing, and the detail and bass has improved enormously since putting the TT on the rack. The only slight issue is a little lack of focus with the vocals, they often appear to be heard from both speakers rather than than at a point in front of me. Not sure id this is speaker positioning or cartridge alignment. Will put a few CDs on later and see what happens. But on the whole a very happy chappy 😁😁

That looks great.
If you can remove the other speakers from the room I think that might help with focus.
Linn dems always used to insist on that iirc.

Do you really think that will make that much of a difference.
The speakers are 2.6m across ( 1.3m centres) and 2.5m ( straightline from base to apex) to listening point. They could be a little too wide??

Do you really think that will make that much of a difference. Give it a try if it's not too inconvenient. The other speakers will be 'singing along' to a certain extent, whether or not it's significant only you can judge.

Just toed-in the dittons by about 10° and its made a massive improvement on the focus. Which surprised me tbh.

Yes, I realise you only have the Celestions connected atm, nonetheless the other speakers' drivers will be vibrating along with the music to some extent.
But getting the toe-in angle right is probably a lot more important!

Toeing-in the speakers should help with voice and general focus.
