Took my amp for a repair. Fella had a whole house full of good toys. Valve amps,solid state,rare record decks etc etc...
Fixes my amp then says get a borrow of this ... it’s his own home made diy SE solid state amp based on a Nelson Pass design.
It’s great. Got it hooked up to the Castles and it’s fast taut and clean. He’s got the extra power section which I heard at his and it just adds more.
The pre(with volume) is £300 both boxes probably about £800.
Not in the market just now but tempted!
