I remember Flash Gordon at Saturday morning cinema. I'm not sure I want to see almost 4 hours of it in one sitting, though!

Much like Martin, I also remember Flash Gordon at the " Saturday Morning Flicks." £0.0s.3d downstairs, £0.0s.6d for the balcony, and after the half time break only the "losers" were left downstairs, who deserved every bit of popcorn we "shared" with them from on high. Also, like Martin, I couldn't hack that much Flash in one sitting. There was a reason it was a serial.

I think I must have been a 'loser' for being in the stalls, then. I don't remember anyone sitting in the circle at our Odeon?
I wish I could remember something else SF we used to see. It was better than Flash but damned if I can remember what it was called.

Also, like Martin, I couldn't hack that much Flash in one sitting. There was a reason it was a serial. Never got to see it at the cinema; too impoverished. Got to see some of it years later when it was on the tv over the Christmas time now and again. Entertaining to see it from start to finish. I must be getting easily pleased in my old age. That Dale Arden was waste of time. All she did was scream and flake out. And Dr Zarkof totally lacked any credibility in them shorts. Never mind. Entertaining all the same. This is pretty neat:

Somewhat different vibe to the pretty depressing one of the original film:
Wonder how much it cost?:

Justin Johnson is a great player, I've got several of his albums. I've also got a LAG guitar (not one of those though, mines a classical crossover) and I can attest to their quality. They're a French brand, and as far as I know they all have those distinctive oval rosettes. As for the second video, well, he's just a bloody show-off, isn't he?

They make a lovely couple, and Robert Fripp's good too. "School's Out," is quite entertaining too.
She's 62-years-old by the way.
