We are currently working our way through an old favourite, The Adventures Of Sherlock Homes an ITV series circa 1984/5 staring my personal favourite Holms in Jeremy Brett. www.imdb.com/title/tt0086661/

Jeremy Brett is the quintessential Holmes as far as I'm concerned, much as David Suchet became the embodiment of Poirot for me. Brett displayed just the right amount of madness in his characterisation.

So many - that I probably don't have time to watch
Elementary is good with Sherlock in modern day New York
Stargate
The Wire
Band of Brothers
Breaking Bad
I bet there are more

It's fun watching the original animated Tin Tins and the restored episodes of Thunderbirds again

We worked our way through the Holmes box set a couple of years back.
Ina gave me a box set of the Under-sea World of Jaques Cousteau that was fascinating, and scary (most of the seas are now empty compared with what he showed. We have been back through several series of Dr Who too as well as Torchwood. Another big hit was the B&W films of Miss Marple starring Margaret Rutherford. And a surprise was "Flowers".

I hate to admit it, but I still haven't watched Game of Thrones. I've got seasons 1 - 7 on Blu-ray but after gorging myself on series one I never got any further for some reason. I've also got a large backlog of films to watch on Blu-ray.

S1 is just the intro. S2 really sucks you in.

A somewhat underrated SciFi series.
