I really like the look of this programme with Bonsori Kim, DG's new violin signing. Wieniawski - Concert Polonaise in D major, op.4 & Fantaisie brillante on themes from Gounod’s Faust, op.20 Beethoven - Leonore Overture No.3, op.72b Franz Waxman - Carmen Fantasie www.dg-premium.com/dg_stage_video/bomsori-kim-violin-on-stage/

Yes, that Grieg will be good I'll bet. It was indeed! The best tribute I can pay Paul Lewis is that listening to his Grieg was like reacquainting myself afresh with this work - there were so many wonderful subtleties in his performance but tremendous power on tap .. Such a natural musical communicator. The ticket price was more than worthwhile just for the PC but there's also a lovely Peer Gynt suite. Griegtastic.

The Bartok for two pianos and percussion was just incredible.
I'll have to write a review of the whole concert.
