Ibuprofen used to be my default
until recently when the boss's specialist told her never to take it again as it was very harmful
Not sure what I do now. Have no pain is one option.
Always take it with food and recommended Omeprazole which I was prescribed by my GP as X 1000 a year die from Ibuprofen caused stomach bleeds

I'm on Omeprazole to mitigate the side effects of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. My painkiller of choice (and prescription) is co-Codamol 30/500.

Whoo! - a few Tesco delivery slots suddenly opened up for tomorrow - I hadn't found any for the last week or more. My guess is that they keep a bunch reserved for "officially vulnerable" types and open them up to all comers if they aren't taken with a day or so to go.
Fingers crossed, we'll see what turns up.

I've just cancelled my Saturday Tesco order and managed to book a Sainsbury's slot for the same time and day.

Quite a decent haul from Sainsbury's this week. Still no yeast, and I ordered "Soft Tortillas" but received "Crunchy Taco Shells," but other than that nothing I can't live with. I even got baked beans at long last, although they replaced the Branston baked beans I ordered with Sainsbury's cheap & nasty own brand.
Supply chains appear to be slowly returning to normal now that the panic-buying seems to have tailed off. People have realised, perhaps, that we're in this for the long haul, and they're fed up with not being able to lock the kids in the spare room because it's full of toilet rolls.

I managed to get canned sweetcorn (but no frozen) and frozen pizza in my most recent trip. That's an improvement.
Sainsburys are no longer allowing couples to shop together, so you have to go on your own.

apparently the shortage of flour in the shops is due to the inability to change the packaging - normally 95% of flour goes to bakeries in 25kg and 50kg packs and they are simply unable to downsize the packaging quickly to service all the new wannabe home bakers who are looking for 2kg packs now that the bakeries are closed. There's no shortage of flour, just no way to get enough suitably packed and onto shop shelves.

Try ordering plums and you get sent plum tomatoes! FFS

Haven't done any shopping for over 2 weeks. Went to Asda on Wednesday morning. The security guard directed me to the car park entrance. Got there and saw a que to the corner where the trolleys are. Turned the corner, and the que continued. Walked half way to the rear, the que still stretched back as far as I could see. I thought sod this, and came back home. I'll try earlier on Monday.

Went to Sainsbury's on Friday. Queue about 15mins. Even got 2 x 1.5kgs of my usual flour. Shelf was empty but top shelf had one unopened 8 pack left! I had to find and ask an assistant to get that down for me cos' I'm only 4'6"😀

I had to get some bits and pieces on Friday and was delighted to see that a gloved staff member was disinfecting trolley handles and passing them on to people as they reached the headcof the queue. I was also delighted that, when it was my turn, she thoughtfully touched her mouth with her fingers before grabbing my trolley. All good there then!

I take three in the morning, to last the day. My Dr has said okay. He was more worried that I take 2 tablets 3-4 times a day. That's where the stomach bleeding becomes more of an issue.
