The received wisdom is, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I read about them some time ago on the Digital Spy forum. One comment I seem to remember is something like "If you can look out of your window and see a transmission tower you might get a signal, but it won't be for any free "premium" channels.

Just for fun, I loaded up a proxy server which his the fact that I was accessing that site from the UK. I get a page with the same web address but with prices in US Dollars and they're selling something called the "Mohu Leaf 50 Indoor Amplified HDTV Antenna" and instead of the testimonials on the right there are a series of adverts for other products, priced in Rupees. I'd say, avoid like the plague.

Too good to be true.
Is it right that cable companies are duty bound to also transmit a signal that can be "captured" by some sort of aerial ?
