They stole their entire act from Brian Pern, and Thotch.

I'm happy to remember Genesis and Gabriel at several memorable gigs in past years. They were never less than wonderful mostly because I never saw Genesis in their later 'pop' guise. Gabriel remains wonderful live.

If you want to be at the front in Block A2 at the O2 Arena, it's £793.00 each . . . FOR 1 VIP TICKET! Not 20 tickets, just 1!
Pick the side of the O2, in section 111 and it's only £395.50 per ticket. So with fees, for 2 tickets that comes to a nice and reasonable £793.75.
I wouldn't even consider Section 111 to be anything special either - so for a night out in London for two people with a cheap room and dinner, you might get change from a grand to sit in a pretty average seat.
My ticket to see Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, which I bought yesterday, cost less than the service charge for one ticket!

I would love to hear how they justify those prices. They must have lost the plot.
To be fair to Phil Collins, the cost of living as a tax exile in Switzerland is extremely high, so why not skin all those loyal fans 'One More Night'.

I'm a bit speechless to be honest, no artist/band is worth that, not even Elvis!
It will of course sell out, which just propagates the problem. People need to stop paying outrageous prices or it'll never change.

To be fair Tim, if Elvis comes back from the dead I will pay £395 for a one-off performance.

There are just two tickets left on Ticketmaster for the London show, which are right up the top on the side, 90 degrees to the stage. Get this, £417.25 each, plus fees.
The explanation from Ticketmaster as to why they are so expensive;
Dynamic pricing for concert tickets now, lovely, thank you Ticketmaster and Genesis.
Meanwhile I just bought a ticket to see Courtney Marie Andrews for £20.35 - and if both shows cost the same, guess who I'd be seeing

So Ticketmaster are now pricing like Easyjet!
Absolute robbers. I'm grateful I hardly ever have to use their services.

So Ticketmaster are now pricing like Easyjet! I didn't know they did that for concerts, but if people will pay it, they'll try and get away with it and seems they have. Lot's of unhappy grumbling on Twitter about it, The Genesis Archive were defending it saying;
So of course pedantic Tim had to respond;
I then got a long list of all the hangers on who had to be paid, production and rehearsal costs etc.
Hey ho, it's pretty much sold out I think anyway, so who am I to comment. If folk are happy with that, then let them work away and enjoy themselves
