Great stuff, let us know how it sounds!
I like the A20 a lot Jules, this is the third headphone amplifier I’ve had for my HD650s (Musical Fidelity X-Cans/Matrix M-Stage) and this combination is the most pleasurable. I know a lot of people consider the 650s a little laid back, but that suits my listening style and as I like to listen for long periods, something like say a Grado can be a bit too edgy and clinical after awhile. My tastes as you probably know lean toward acoustic, female vocal, singer/songwriter, jazz and classical – so for me this is a good match. I had read some reviews re this pairing which indicated they went well together and I agree. I've no idea how to describe it with phrases like leading edge transients, or revealing this or that, as mostly I have no idea what that means. All I can say is to me the A20 has a natural, uncoloured and non-fatiguing sound when paired with the 650s and I like it For the unit itself, I particularly like the two output jacks, so when my mate comes round we can both use the amp. I also like that it's a straight pass through for the signal, rather than a preamp output, like many other headphone amplifiers. I can slot this between my DAC and amplifier and forget about it, whereas before I needed to cable swap with the other headphone amplifiers. So it’s a keeper, but I liked it from the get go, which is why I persevered with it. I was looking at a Schiit Audio headphone amplifier, but there isn’t one that did all I needed.

Nice one Tim, what's your source equipment?

Same source for many years now Jules, a Windows based music server which I built myself, running JRiver Media Center 23 with my entire FLAC library in the server. I also use this for Spotify
The only change I've made over the last few years was swapping out the mechanical drive for SSD. Still have the Rega DAC & Brio R I bought in 2011 - I like them, they still work so have no desire/need to change them.

I've always had Amazon contact me right away when I've asked them to via the contact me page.
I've also received refunds right away, sometimes as soon as I've posted it at the post office.
I'd be getting them to give me call as this is far too long to have waited for a refund, I'm assuming you posted it a while back and it should have arrived by now.

1st one collected by Hermes on Amazon's behalf, 2nd one I took to a Hermes drop off point, as I wasn't prepared to wait in for a third day. I've just checked the Hermes tracking numbers, these are the last entries;
Amp 01 13:24 - Thu 27 Feb We've got your parcel and we're processing it for you
13:25 - Fri 28 Feb Your parcel is on its way back to the sender
Amp 02 13:56 - Sat 07 Mar We've collected your parcel from the drop off point and it's on its way
13:35 - Sun 08 Mar Your parcel is on its way back to the sender
So as for the refund, well as Hermes still haven't returned them? If nothing changes over the next few days, I'll contact them again.
At least I have receipts for both returns and Hermes wasn't my choice either, that was Amazon's.

If still get in touch with Amazon, I had the same issue with a return and I had to send several messages to the Amazon Marketplace Seller AND complain to Amazon about it and they refunded me the cost of the item, return postage AND an extra tenner in my account for the inconvenience.
Just keep badgering them, Amazon help/return Depts are excellent to deal with, so I would go to the contact page and get them to call you and they'll hassle the seller to find out what's happening.
My parcel ( radiator cover ) allegedly didn't arrive ( I had proof it had ), so a couple of online chats with Amazon and it was all sorted, took a few weeks mind you as it was over the Xmas period.
I tend to use online chat to sort things these days as it's easy to retain proof of conversation AND you can understand what's being typed rather than dealing with an Indian call centre.

This is a direct Amazon sale, no third party seller is involved.
And yup, I use on-line chat and keep a copy of the entire conversation.

Great, that should be easier to sort out, I tend to use Royal Mail for returns as mentioned earlier, the refund gets confirmed the same day I post the item back, the other day it was within a couple of hours of posting and the refund to my Amazon Gift account was credited then too. Don't know if it helps that one of the main distribution centres for Amazon is only 20 minutes from me.

Goodness me Hermes is slow! Amazon have now got both the returned amplifiers and confirmed issuing the refund. Took some time, but got there in the end and I'm still loving the amplifier, so happy days
They never did respond to my email, but I've closed the book on it now, as there isn't anything I want from them, Prime or otherwise and I'll be prioritising other vendor's over them in future.

I had a good experience with Amazon today.
Ordered four wine glasses and one of them arrived chipped. Started a web chat with them but was advised to phone. Got through in 3 minutes and the dude very quickly offered me a 25% refund which was fine for me. Immediately received in my Gift Card balance.
