Did I miss Saturday and Sunday (again)? Do you want to go to the toilet dear ? No, I'm good thanks... In theory I'm getting my delivery on Monday. Will believe it when the goods are in my hands.

Yep on the phone they said Monday but since this is DHL anything can happen.
It even said on my parcel 'recipient refused delivery' due to customs charge - funny that they never turned up at my door on Friday like they were meant to, so how they make this stuff up I don't know ... What a shower of ...

Well after a number of days silence from Beyerdynamic (probably sat in the 'too difficult tray') I just had an email from them with the correct tracking number.
Hot foot onto DHL, who tried to deliver it on the 29th but it was refused.
The very helpful Tracy at DHL has updated the parcel record with my address and marked it for delivery tomorrow . . . fingers crossed.
Amazon however have completely ignored my email of complaint about the two opened box deliveries, not even an acknowledgement . . . maybe that address isn't right Slinger?

I’ve been convinced for a good while that Amazon repackage returns and sell as new again. LPs in particular especially with the nearly a third of all the ones I’ve bought having to be returned.
Just received a Raspberry Pi from Amazon in a sealed box and lo and behold it has a micro sd card fitted already with a programme already installed on it, can’t see which one but it’s either Volumio or DietPi or similar as I can see the DAC options in one of the files.
I suspect someone tried it and for whatever reason sent it back and forgot to remove their mSD card first.
Or am I wrong and they now come with a pre installed card these days ?

Amazon are getting naughty with this. No, I've never seen a Pi arrive with an installed microSD card.

Amazon are getting naughty with this. No, I've never seen a Pi arrive with an installed microSD card. They sure are, I wonder if their lack of response to my email is the 'forensic' type evidence I've supplied proving it's a resale not once, but twice? I think that's poor on a relatively high value item.
I cancelled my Prime account last night and I'm going to be retiring Alexa too. I've got the hump with Amazon at the moment so we'll see if I can survive without them.
DHL are now showing my delivery as Delayed so it won't be going out today
It's like pulling teeth getting this headamp!

I put a little mark on returned LP labels just to see if it comes back 😂

I remember I had to get three copies of Made in Japan to find one playable and even that was a bit warped ...

I think I'm having your battle with DHL as well Jules! It didn't arrive yesterday, the tracking record updated to say delivery 5th March last night. Then that disappeared this morning, being replaced with scheduled for delivery 4th March! Just called them again . . . now coming tomorrow . . . yeah right
I personally think they've lost it now.

Tim, I sincerely hope you don't have the level of hassle I have had with DHL. I'm sure you won't but don't rely on the tracking record or what anyone tells you, it could be anytime you get it ...
Once I have summoned the energy I will explain what happened with my saga ...
I don't know how they manage to stay in business to be honest with their amateur attitude, especially with the number of smaller couriers upping their game and improving customer service.
'My Herpes' used to be a terrible outfit but I would choose them any day over DHL now!
I will never send anything with DHL and will do my best to avoid buying anything from someone who uses them.

Well it's becoming clear that the tracking record is mostly window dressing and bears no real resemblance to what's actually happened, or what they tell you is going to happen. The mere fact that someone or something keeps deleting entries from it, I find pretty alarming - that should be a full visible record of what goes on, or how can you assist them, or they keep track of anything and in the worst case, dispute anything?
The so called tracking record has had 2 entries altered and 3 entries deleted from it now, so I've started taking screen shots.
Tis all a bit shoddy and underhand IMO.

DHL must be learning from the book of City Link, without doubt the worst couriers I have ever used. They deserved to go under.

Finally . . . a brand new, sealed box with a shiny new headphone amplifier inside
Last hurdle is now getting my money back from Amazon and they never did respond to my complaint about the 'open box' units they sent.

I hope you like what it does after all this, Tim. I'm surprised Amazon haven't replied, although they can be a bit slow responding sometimes.
