Well, nobody's perfect.
I've an SGS Signature box - seems to work well, and nice people to deal with.

Hang on, I think AES was being recommended for digital data transmission, with which I agree.
Grounding can be done to any spare input on the Topping, such as a phono coax. For that, you'd need an Entreq, Coherent or SGS phono grounding lead.

Is the Matrix one to consider? The Matrix-X is probably worth a try. It seems to have received good reviews and various people on headfi rate it. Interesting discussion on grounding boxes - I never really thought about them and certainly have no idea how they work. Although it may be very good, the RTZ grounding box suggested by John is way too expensive for me, especially when cables are included - more than the Mutec. The SGS-1 is somewhat more affordable.

Indeed the digital signal transmission for the Topping would ideally be an AES cable if possible I2S really only works if correctly implemented and realistically was only ever designed for short transmission line runs under 200mm
With correct grounding on dac's do make sure both the analogue and digital ground planes are referenced for best effect.

Melco N1Zh MK1. PrimaLuna Dialogue HP Integrated. Monitor Audio PL200 MK1. Uptone EtherRegen. Uptone ISO Regen ( which saved the D90 from getting moved on ). All components grounded to various older Entreq ( except the D90 of course ).
The D90 was bought to replace the original Mytek Brooklyn. I prefer the D90 by some margin it would seem.

Grounding box cables were a revelation to me Started off with the low end Coherent and upgraded as I heard a difference to the next level up each time Sound quality improvements were very big steps up
