Had many to choose from. But this has memories of lazy afternoons, good friends, a nice sauvignon blanc in the fridge... And is something I'll never tire of.

I have been remiss in my participation since coming home from the UK in May.
My lack of attention here is due to making myself too busy, adding things at school for students. Running my own sports leagues after school, entering competitions, sorting out teams for different tournament, coaching, my basketball rep team, teaching, and with reports looming.
Oh, also finally getting myself healthier. 114kg in January; 99.4kg today. Has been 20 years since I've been two digits...

It's worth remembering that real life should always take precedence over the virtual world.

Nice weight drop, Brett. You'll live longer! This is on Qobuz and I'm listening now. Very vibrant sound, really enjoyable. Will score later. open.qobuz.com/track/17589354

I am not one for reggae but this kind of upbeat vivid performance reminds me of the only thing UB40 have ever done which is good: Madam Medusa.
A nice listen, 4/5.

I have given this 3/5, I like Reggae so the overall sound was pleasing and I enjoyed it for the majority, but there is something that tells me I wouldn't chose to listen to it again.

4/5 from me: As decent a dollop of soul-tinged Kiwi/white-boy dub and reggae as you're likely to find anywhere I reckon.

If you had asked me about this a few years ago I would have said
Not bloody reggae !
John Peel played so much reggae
However I find myself going back to music JP played and finding it not too bad at all Listening and cogitating....

I'm with you, Mike. I've always dismissed reggae but this is good.
