Recently I blew up one of my drivers a probable short causing the amplifier I was trying out to overload as I watched one PRV driver go pop in smoke I can only import the PRV driver and postage costs are just ridiculous I spoke to Vic and he suggested the Beyma 5G40Nd/N - 5" 200W 8 Ohm as nearly identical spec's I decided to take the risk as missing listening to music They have about 8 hours on them but already setting in. They are more sensitive than the PRV so in real life I have to adjust the volume a few notches back on the Topping and increase bass on the inuke to match volume levels so it's all balanced. Other major difference is a good bit more detail This has increased the sense of scale of the system It is missing a bit of mid end grunt but think more to come from the drivers as they settle in. Everything feels a bit more real I already prefer them to the PRV 5MR450~NDY a touch more musical and effortless

Serendipity, a lucky accident.

I been living with the new drivers for about a week now. It took a while for the mid to fully open up. There is a larger sense of scale than I used to. Glad I got the mid end push I enjoy
