Martin. You can put my name down but Sept looks a long way off from here. Perhaps a bimonthly or weekly would work better and get more contributions.

I think weekly is too often. Bimonthly might do it ......... As you assumed I meant twice a month - confusingly bimonthly can mean twice a month or every two months. |

classicrock & native, you're both now in the list. Don't get despondent as members occasionally drop out bumping everyone up.
As for the frequency, we have discussed it before but didn't reach any definite conclusions. Fortnightly (hah - that got around the bimonthly issue) may well be preferable but it would be good to have some opinions.

Weekly is, without doubt, too frequent, as it creates a lot of work ensuring that the next person's thread is posted on time. Believe me, I've had to do it and it becomes a grind. Also, it means that, if a member wants to buy the album de jour via the internet, they often don't get it delivered much before the end of the week. A longer cycle means that a day or two's delay is not a disaster from either of the above points of view.
I do agree that there's a good argument for the period being less than a month though.
