Great photos, thanks for sharing Jerry.
It looks like the rooms were mostly better setup than Bristol, using just ordinary furniture.

Great photos Gerry , first year I haven't taken photos as I was manning the Bring and Buy and Charity sale and never got a chance to hear any rooms on the day.

Very good Gerry considering it relies on decent charity donations and the fact it ran along side the Bring and Buy , I'll do a thread with the total on The Wam , probably tomorrow.

Thanks for these Jerry - was there anything that you thought worthy of trying in your system one day?

Thanks for these Jerry - was there anything that you thought worthy of trying in your system one day? Worthy?!? Hehe. One of the main draws for me going to the show was to hear the Boenicke speakers. They were good, and the room wasn't really of sufficient size for them to strut their stuff properly. .... from reports and chats about the make I had been wondering about larger ones (with 300W of bass amplification on board) replacing my beloved MBLs. I could still get a pretty good sense of what they are about, I think. Well, that urge has gone, the MBLs are staying. They just suit me. Other than that, not really. Lots of good sounds, though, and as usual I found my own preferences quite unrelated to cost. A wonderful system costing less than £100, and great systems well into 4 maybe 5 figures. And good to meet up again with some hifi buddies.
