Interesting! It looks like an evolutionary design, a lot of the basic topology remains the same. I wonder what the 'advanced regeneration power supply system' adds to the PSU story? '4 very low sideband noise clocks' may actually be the best part of the revised design. I've no idea what a 'audionotte fast-sunny stepless capacitor' is! The layout looks beautiful...

I wonder where the 'copper plated silver cattle' are housed?
Cheers. Bill

Here's an interesting new DAC - Burson Composer.
Preamp / Headphone Amp / Bluetooth / DAC all-in-one for around $1000.

This new compact Soncoz DAC appears to be good value at under 200 quid. Great sound quality but not the best interface from what I read. www.soncoz.com/laqxd1.html#/

Nice case with balanced and rca outs A bargain for sure I think the only drawback is the usb c power supply but can be powered by a power bank

< The Doge 7 is our most innovative product, but it sounds like old-style analog turntables! > doge.audio/product/doge-7-tube-dac/I'm definitely not buying one then!! There's lots more spurious digital v analog nonsense on the website if you read on.

I confess I've ordered a Gustard A22 with it's AK4499s and balanced outputs to feed my Ncore amp. This is for our TV and secondary music system. It's a bit of a gamble but I wanted true balanced and a good volume control / preamp which is discrete class A. Fingers crossed it works out.

A big plus is the on-board pre-amp appears, according to the review, (link attached) very robust. Please let us know your impressions. soundnews.net/sources/dacs/gustard-dac-a22-review/

It's supposed to arrive on Tuesday. I gather the USB is not perfect but should be ok, at least it's XMOS. I can either run the ATB with USB or Pi with spdif. The TV will be an optical connection, as is typical.
£26 tax is paid...
I'll feedback asap. It's competing with a Qutest...it's the amp I'll combine with it which I hope will give great synergy.
