Subtle tweaks to the playlist, now official ! I had been selecting artistes from the racks and running through all or most of their albums at the end of every run through the playlist. Now working through the alphabet using my database. Picking out those albums 8, 9 or 10 out of 10 and loving them.. Anal or what ? Most not heard for months and never on anything like as good as the system is now Some are like brand new albums Chameleons earlier, Channel Light Vessel currently, Cheap Trick will follow

Anyone else use a playlist ?
I'm finding it very comfortable with the 2 playlists I have, main system as detailed above as well as the kitchen system with a different playlist Many albums have been played for months with no sign of me growing tired of hearing them so often. In fact I'm finding some are sounding better after many many plays.
In an effort to move some on I added extra from the queue and pulled in albums I just had to hear.
Playlist is now 2 slots in the CD rack not just one and I love hearing them again and again
You'll see most of the above are still here
Bajofondo Tango Club Presents Supervielle Cream - Wheels of Fire - now super duper SACD Rick Springfield - Karma Rick Springfield - Songs for the end of the world Bajofondo Tango Club - Bajofondo Tango Club Bajofondo - Mar Dulce Chameleons - What does anything mean ? I have 10 different playlists setup in Qobuz but they are aide memoirs and I don't use them as a continuously playing list as such. I tend to go off at tangents as I read about artists and their previous history and links.

Surprises me that I stick to these playlists and enjoy them so much so many times over.
I also veer off many times and all or some of those albums end up in the playlist.

Playlists are pretty much the opposite way to how I listen, I tend to take more of a random walk guided by artists and composers and even recording labels associated with previous happy listening. The Qobuz search facilities are heavily used chez Jerry!
Internet streaming has turned me into much more of a musical explorer than I used to be.

I don't have playlist as such. I did start a few on Tidal and Qobuz, but have never really been back to them. However, I do get stuck on certain albums for periods of time. At the moment the original mix of "Tubular Bells" keeps getting played as does "Tea for the Tillerman", "Transformer" and "Peepers. I had a brief sojourn with the albums of Miles Davis last week and I seem to be hooked on Pink Floyd this week. There are certainly albums I never seem to tire of so I understand why a playlist like yours could be so satisfying.

Amazing how much more comes out on repeated listening of favourite albums. 'Going through the playlist' might sound a chore but it is a delight Very useful for evaluating potential upgrades even though I often get lost in the music
