John I'm a wee bit confused what you are looking for. Are the cans just for traveling for a few weeks or will you use them with your main rig? Do you want full size or foldable? Definitely wired or maybe Bluetooth? What's your budget?
Looks like a trip to a dealer might be the best bet if ultimate sound quality is your prime consideration?

I've owned Fostex T50rp mk3 and I agree they are great cans for around £100. It was happily owning them for quite a while which inspired me to spend out more £££ on a pair of Fostex TH600 when a used pair came along on ebay, which are similar in many ways but more of a "no holds barred" design. The rrp is about 6x as much so they should be better! Are you familiar with the ZMF mod on these by any chance? www.zmfheadphones.com/order-the-zmf/zmf-classicNo, I've only owned and heard the standard T50rpiii.

My favourite headphones are Sennheiser HD25. Then getting the mods from Custom Cans UK.
Closed back, comfortable. Excellent in a portable system. Also very robust.
Cheap second hand as well.

I'm leaving NZ around the 13th April for my first O.E. So will be in the UK. Easy to bring the RSA SR-71A. But you may go the portable Dac route.
At 56, I still think I can act like a young thing. Can't move like one though. Probably won't drink quite as much as I would at 20 either...

Chances of me getting a pair of Beat headphones are similar to me winning the lottery and I don't do the lottery 🤣

I think I've cracked it for you John! 😂 It still baffles me how these seem to be held up as such a leader in the headphone market. It blows my mind. I guess that is the power of advertising for you.

Just to update the 1060 did not work out me perhaps the most boring headphones 8 ever used. Kept them for a week before selling them again

Wow. Could you leave an impression of what makes these special, specs aside?
And could they still sound nearly as good for anyone without a Chord Mojo?

I'll do my best.
It really comes down to what kind of presentation you like. What I love about the Philips is they have an incredibly airy, detailed sound with lots of separation between instruments and very convincing spatial effects. Excellent dynamics and good at both frequency extremes.
When I first got them I was using them with a cheap DAC dongle plugged into my phone that was surprisingly good and after that with a Topping NX4. Of course the Mojo is quite a step up from these.
