News From Spain - Al Stewart was missing.. In its place was an acoustic version. A guitar attempted the piano..
Odd as the rest of Orange was there. I put in a request and hey presto!
Now the lovely wonderful Rick Wakeman piano solo is there for all Spotifites to hear..

99% of Pendragon's output is not on Spotify, as I've just discovered. Yeah, a pity that, saw them live November last year, they were excellent, my wife hadn’t heard any of their stuff and thoroughly enjoyed the gig 😉

Yeah, a pity that, saw them live November last year, they were excellent, my wife hadn’t heard any of their stuff and thoroughly enjoyed the gig 😉 I've got quite a few of their albums (I've just counted - 7) and although they can be a bit "prog-lite" they still make good listening.

IQ is another Prog group you won't find much of in Spotify, think maybe 2 albums available if I remember right.
Well worth checking then out though 😉
There's another artist called IQ but he looks like a rapper and it's a pain because when your search IQ he pops up 😞

I've found that a couple of times when I've been searching for semi-obscure bands on Spotify. The band may have been obscure but their name was deemed worthy of nicking. "Night Sun" was one such band. I know the original lineup didn't feature accordion.

Unbelievable! John Cale & Terry Riley - Church of Anthrax, one of Riley's seminal albums. Rainbow... is there, along with tens of others, but no ...Anthrax. On checking, no Harp Of New Albion either, although Harp Of New Albion: II is there.

On checking, no Harp Of New Albion either, although Harp Of New Albion: II is there. It's either because the artist doesn't want them streamed, on some titles they want you to buy the physical copy OR the label is holding it back 😉

I tried playing My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges. The tracks are all greyed out of course. I was not expecting the Spotify app to go crazy! The scrolling play bar starting jumping / rolling the banner in a jumpy random way with the selected track glitching weirdly back and forth. Pause did not work, nor stop, back, forward etc. No sound of course.. Expanding the track to player view the same thing was happening but with the album art glitching back and forth again pause, stop etc not working. Only thing that stopped it was selecting a track from another playlist where the track was available on Spotify. Don't these guys test such things? Who writes the test specs / test instructions or scripts??

I can't find any trace of Evil Urges on either Spotify or Qobuz. I don't know what you found - a playlist?

I can't find any trace of Evil Urges on either Spotify or Qobuz. I don't know what you found - a playlist? Yeah, could have been a playlist from when it existed on Spotify once upon a time? Very strange. Still a legit Test Case though

Has anyone had a reoccurring track inserting itself in the queue? I've had Wishbone Ash - Blowin' Free coming up randomly as next played track. Can insert itself into a playlist and album and it's annoyingly random. I've removed it from the queue whilst its playing several times m, to no avail! It's been going on for days, many app exits.. still on the same RPi / Volumio power up session though. I suspect Volumio or Spotify connect. I feel Volumio reboot coming on.. Bug? - bloody SW developers. But I do like freeware though

I've not seen that happen, Steve. Does the Volumio queue show anything? It could need a reboot. Mind you, not a bad track to have on repeat...

Where has Gordon Giltrap's Fear of the Dark gone?
Missing from Qobuz, too.

I like the fact that I can select a few songs for a queue on Spotify then hit shuffle on a large playlist and the app will first play a song from the shuffle, then it will play the one or two songs I've added to the queue, then it will go back and continue shuffling that large playlist.

My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges, Touch Me I'm Going to Scream part 2
Perhaps Spotify do listen to requests via their what's missing function..
Btw, not on Quobuz yet..
