Back on here again after the summer has finally gone, having said that I'm off to Italy next week so looking forward to that.
We had 3 weeks touring France on our motorbikes back in August, had a great time, spent 2-3 days minimum at each stopover, blessed (and cursed) with 30+ temperatures the whole trip except for the last full day when the heavens opened and we had a 3 hour ride that became 6!!!.
Where did everyone else go for their Jollies??

In June we spent a couple of weeks in the States, as described here. We spent a week in Kefalonia in August and then had another week in Dorset last month for my daughter's wedding. The next trip planned is a few days on the west coast of Scotland later in the year. |

We had an earlier break in Bruges. We do like Belgium. Now in Mijas to celebrate (avoid) my 60th birthday. We have a cute little Fiat 500 that's nice to drive but can barely get up the steep mountainous roads here in 2nd!
Done Granada, which is wonderful, and Estapona, less so. Off to Ronda tomorrow.

French roads are generally uncrowded and especially off the main motorways. Only slow road was the main motorway to Bordeaux but being on motorbikes does have it's advantages!!!
