Please add more and we will update this list.
Take good photos of the kit before you sell, serial number and photos partly packed just in case of any claims.
Original box is the very best and worth keeping. May add to the price
Use Double thickness cardboard. Far better than single.
When packing eliminate all air spaces as this can allow the kit to move and break.
Enough packing is best. It may have to suffer trial by Neanderthal.
Too much packing and you pay more to ship due to the volumetric rules most shippers apply.
The exact size box is best. If not available one in just one dimension will work. Use a Stanley knife to cut to size and fold in, trimming off where necessary. If too big get the best you can and join it as good as you can. Pallet wrap does a good job.
You can buy Polystyrene Corner Protection for not a lot on Ebay and others.
99% of buyers are fine. Look out for the 1%
Does this buyer sound ok or could someone be about to take the goods and not pay ?
If paid by PayPal can you be sure the buyer won't come at you with a spurious claim ?
Investigate the buyer if and as much as you can. Negative or zero feedback on Ebay is dodgy.
Have a signature at the other end for almost everything.
"No returns" seems good as I have heard of returned items with parts swapped or stripped out.
Don't take a cheque unless you wait for it to clear and look out because I think it can be debited back up to 8 days later
Bank transfers. Can they be debited back ? (Think it is possible)
Cash could be counterfeit.
'Buyer' could be coming to case the joint to rob you later. Even if they talk nonstop about hifi and bore the pants off you
