I recall studying these ' Worcester fragments' at uni in the early 80s, absolutely fascinating as they are way ahead harmonically of what the French were up to at the time. This recording was new to me but I treasure an old Nonesuch LP from the mid-70s which was the first time any of this music was transcribed and recorded. Thanks Jerry for alerting me to this.

I'm listening to it, too.
Fascinating harmonies.

Mmm, not today. I like to save up the very best things for really special occasions.

Beautiful playing, and the limited recording works fine for the piano.
Nice find!

Mariam Batsashvili home recital.
This uplifting performance is well worth a look. The Chopin is quite a curtain raiser - most sensitively played and some fabulous technique as it comes to a climax.

That piano does sound good even in the confines of a small room. She plays superbly.
