Sometimes making dreams happen for the people I support can take you on unexpected journeys I support a young man he has Autism and Catatonia He is very bright around specific subjects he has an interest in His biggest passion is with Wolves. He has a personal budget and had quite bit spare that he had not used so I suggested he go for a Holiday to visit Wolves. His biggest hero is Shawn Ellis the Wolfman. He had to live with Wolves for a few years in order to raise them as they were abandoned by there Mother So I arranged a visit to meet Shawn and spend a day with Wolves It meant travelling to Cornwall. I can tell you when the pack of 6 wolves came running out the Den with me lying on the floor I was scared. But after awhile I could relax into it.

It's a totally different experience. I was aware that Wolves are wild animals but also aware they are used to humans so not so dangerous

Nice one, John. I think the only "up-close" situation I'd like to be in with Wolves is when they're playing Liverpool.

Good for you. Hope you both had a great day!
I saw wolves before at Kincraig and you could watch their pack behaviour ... fascinating. Kincraigs an open Safari park but the wolves were in an enclosure - you could see them splitting up and working to try and flank young bison...
They were also NOT your majestic strong looking big timber wolves, they were scabby dirty devious looking things.

Fabulous John, I bet your client was thrilled to bits. I'd love to get up close like that. Best I got was in an enclosure, like Chris I took this from a timber walkway above them at the zoo
