Huawei are a brand on my short list for when my Motorola dies. Do give us an update after using it for a few months

I be honest I sent my one back, all I would like is a phone that makes decent calls and emails plus the occasional txt
This is a Chinese beating Apple at their own game.

Have you seen that the US are banning Hauwei and ZTE phones from use by all government employees?
There is a strong suspicion of harvesting data from them into Chinese hands.
Just saying...

No, there is genuine reason to believe that their phones 'report back' data to a third party.
We've just put a block on supplying Hauwei and ZTE phones to our staff as it could be a potential serious breach of GDPR (we have sensitive student data held in e-mail and apps).

Looks very nice. Are you on the same network as before and what's the reception like in poorer signal areas compared to the WP?

I rarely in poor signal areas but no issues when visiting Mike. Battery life is good camera very good very responsive screen cafe recognition could be better finger start up good Will not use it for sensitive data.

I rarely in poor signal areas but no issues when visiting Mike. This is a bad area for mobiles. People often have to go outside for a signal

My daughters Huawei won't get a signal for toffee inside our Celotex'd to death new house. Windows phones, new Nokia's (and i'm sure the old ones too) and Motorola fair much better. Samsung and I phone are also useless! BTW. we've ditched the home phone line for phoning on completely now. As for the Chinese - I saw the wholesale documentation stealing of Ericsson's AXE telecoms systems by the Chinese in the 80's - low and behold a few years later they had a competitor system. The Swedes were very blue eyed back then!

Apparently Huawei has caused the first upset within the top two spots for best-selling smartphones ever. Never has it not been Samsung and iPhone together in one configuration or another.
Today it is:
Samsung Huawei iPhone
