If they hadn't hooked me already then Richard Thompson, and especially Albert Lee would definitely have sealed the deal.

Keep an eye out for my mate Robert Vincent ( the scouse Springsteen) on the show, very talented singer/songwriter. He's a top bloke too (apart from being a scouser), . . . he wouldn't mind me saying that His latest album won the album of the year award at the recent UK Americana Awards. He should be going places, but in this business you never can tell? He's got a great band too, his lead guitar Mike Gay is a class act. My favourite song of his is called Demons, but it's doubtful he'll play that.

They make a bloody good noise together, Tim. Mike Gay also plays with Xander & The Peace Pirates, who were the resident band at The Cavern Club for 5 years. Check them out on YouTube. I'll say no more.

I know, they're the bizzo (Xander), wanted to see them for awhile but mostly an 'up narth' band. Mike also has a project with his wife, called Painted Day, keeps him very busy, what with Robert as well - he's also a top bloke. Takes it all very seriously and it shows. They have an album on Spotify - actually John would probably like them too, I'll bung it up later

My best memory was the Eric Clapton session. That version of Badge is still one of my faves. Sort of forgotten about the yodeling Frampton did all right just now.. Enjoyed Wildwood kin. The harmonies were a little Good Harvest. Def one to explore / download.

That's good news, it's a popular song so hopefully gets him a bit more exposure. He's just about to tour as support for Beth Nielsen Chapman, so the timing is pretty good. I really hope he makes it, he works his buns off and has such a great positive attitude. I've not seen it, no TV
