Hi all, mostly here to show some support for a new site... Not really into the old Hifi tweaking these days, having found the system that I think is right for me... Who'd a thunk it, not me going back a few years that's for sure! Now I just listen to music, mostly streamed off spotify amusingly... My connections to the industry now lie mostly in the work I do for it making websites, inbound marketing, photography, and more recently PR & events ... Lots of fun, but as I hear you are trying to keep that side of the world of Hifi off this place, I'll keep quiet about it  Good luck with the place guys, I shall try and pop in more than I do the other place |

I'm working on the Beatles and their new, direct from the original mastertapes, mono LP recordings yet to be released ! I would love to talk about this, it's way before your time, but the rules here prohibit me from doing so.
I can understand when I was very young, that people said mono is the only real music, this stereo lark won't catch on. Only a year after my uncle said that, he had a pair of ELS57 and a Decca London....................
I have still got the D700 and probably will have in 10 years time !

Thanks for the welcome all! All the cameras I buy these days are keepers Dave, although very different from a D700 ... the current fave is a minolta TC-1 ... though the real passion now seems to be for cameras with red dots on them |

If you like... I only know how to set it up for mac with the latest osx ... I am a dummy, just fudged enough to get my very specific problem solved. You may have to nudge me via email too And yeah, all film for the hobby now ... Just prefer the process |
