I hate these types of threads because I can't join in , I bought Hi-fi in my early 20's then didn't return to the hobby properly for another 30 years , saved some money I would imagine

I just fart about with little bits that dont cost the erf.

Excessive tracking angle making a mockery of cartridge VTA I remember... I was hugely fond of an ex-review sample of a Goldbug Mr Brier I remember being lucky to use for a few monts. Some of them were toppy things but this particular one was awesome - and the diamond had seen hundreds of hours too!!! Had I not alerted the distributor (an old work colleague) that I had it, I could possibly have kept it longer (bloody big mouth I am ) but he scooped it back up from me and that was that sadly, as the prices were high even then. Fond memories though and you never see them for sale as far as I'm aware...

Coral 777ex, a fantastic cart. Haven't seen one in ages Had a nos sae1000 lt which was based on it and that was fab too
