Some great choices already:-
Deep Purple Made in Japan utterly timeless, if only musicians were this good today
Rainbow live in Dusseldorf 76
Unlike 'On Stage' this is the real deal, sound quality is also significantly better than On Stage as well
Ted Nugent 'Gonzo Live'
ZZ Top 'Live form Texas'
SRV 'Live alive' although a mixture of three dates ansd its a bit processed it still delivers a genuine sense of the man
Michael Shenker 'One night at the Bodokan' although Gary Barden isn't one of my favorite vocalists its a great album
Monsters of Rock album 1980 the first show just something else though SQ isn't great, but the music shines through.
Simple Minds 'Live in the City of Light' put this on when your feeling down will soon put a smaile on your face.
Scorpions 'World wide live'
U2 'Under a blood red sky'
Jimi Hendrix 'Live at Monterey'
Deep Purple 'California Jam' TV camera anyone?
Deep Purple 'Live in London'
