I don't mean to bore you but I just listened to Dark side of the Moon on a decent set of headphone and it sounded great, it's pretty bad that it's taken me so long to do it ,hell I used to play this on the pub juke boxes when I was 16 and the album was new out.

Saw this live when it first came out. Knocked out.
Buying the album later I found it to be not as good as previous albums. If you like this go back to older, especially Atom Heart Mother

When I was a student I spent time at 'hippy resorts' in Egypt - all of the hippy cafes by the sea would simultaneously be playing DSOTM at intense volumes. I have not been able to listen to it since ...

Always loved this album. I first heard it live at Knebworth together with Wish You Were Here.

bought DOSM a couple of months ago on CD....never owned it. Bought the the wall on cd 86/87 pre noise war,all my floyd was. DOSM sounded soft but got me thinking. Bought wish you were here and the wall at sainsbury the other week- sound warmer than my origional disks but mighty fine.
Animals is my favourite floyd disk may well indulge-dogs....fits well with life in general now!

Try 'the Final Cut' - that's not only my favourite Floyd but the recording quality is excellent, and on the right system the effects are impressive too.

My real interest with Floyd finishes with 'Obscured By Clouds' just before DSOTM

It took me ages to get in to Dark Side simply because I was a pretentious twit and it was "too popular" to be cool.

Who can tell me what the airport announcer is saying on 'On the Run'? She’s telling you to take your luggage and passport and follow the green line to passport control, then something about taking BA flight 215 to Paris and Cairo. Not exact but it’s from memory but from that you might be able to fill in the gaps. It’s seemingly a good judge of your system if you can hear it clearly, how true that is I’ve no idea. I know I can hear it on mine no problem

Have your baggage and passport ready and then follow the green line to customs and immigration.... BA 215 to Rome, Cairo and Lagos

You listen to this album on Spotify. The heart beat at the end, you can hear other music playing in the background. Turn it right up & listen with headsets.. Its of a modern era what ever it is

Try 'the Final Cut' - that's not only my favourite Floyd but the recording quality is excellent, and on the right system the effects are impressive too. The becuase it used an experimental 3D Soundbase. Tim: The Wall is a masterpiece.
