Think I went past mad some years back. This is insane. I'm trying to work out how I can avoid them place mats when using the Isis - 27kg(?) Isis not 100% stable, sitting on a RDC cones, RDC bases on a glass Mana reference top on a Mana rack, on Mana Soundstages Any one else would be a lunatic

I can now reveal that the Electric Beach S1NX isolation support shelf is a really excellent piece of kit at a very reasonable price. Would it be too vulgar to ask how reasonable the price was??

Steve (Electric Beach) would prefer to quote as each support is an individual bespoke size. However, a little north of £100 is a fair indication.

I've been rationalising my Raspberry Pi setup, details here.
Meanwhile, you may have thought that I've finished with footers? But no, another likely contender has turned up so I feel compelled to try them out. The wonderfully named Ecstasy Prop feet from you-know-where, with removable springs to 'dial-in' the loading, will be winging their way hereabouts soon. Stay tuned for the full story!

They'll put a 'spring' in your step.

It's that prop for my Ecstasy that does it for me
I have longed for an Ecstasy prop - and I didn't know there was one
Hope the instructions are in the very best Chinglish

It seemed a little unfair that the turntable and SACD player have been getting all the attention of late. I was listening to a few tracks on Spotify today and appreciating just how good the Raspberry Pi is sounding, so out came the old butcher's block, some RDC5 Cones and now it has a nice isolated platform all to itself. It sounds better than ever!

You are really going to have to find something a little more svelte than that Flux Dumper Martin!

Hi Matin
Have you tried the PI with a propery PSU?

What's a 'propery' PSU, Sov? If you mean a linear PSU, yes I've run it from my Paul Hynes 5V supply. As with the Caiman-II, I feel that it sounds better from the battery and I'm happy that I've landed a good one (providing both 5V and 12V outputs).

Sorry mate, a wee typo there. Thanks for the answer. This is a route I would love to take but I feel I would need a clever chap like John to sync it up because I can't see my self being able to do it optimally.

You got a pretty nice sounding PC set up James. What might benefit your set up is a special mains supply for the MAC. I was reading that this can make a big difference on the MAC. Martin is far more knowledgeable around computers than me.
