I have my MOT and an Exedy Stage 1 performance clutch booked for Wednesday. MOT passed with flying colours! The Exedy Stage 1 clutch is very nice, with no increase in pedal pressure despite a clamping ability to handle the 50% more torque my car has with the supercharger. Very pleased with it and admit to having given it a few good maximum acceleration pulls when following a very fast Tesla yesterday.

I suppose Autoglass are the biggest and probably source genuine items rather than clones. Thanks. Hadn't thought of clones Will go looking

Important if you have rain sensors or any other technical bits that are part of the windscreen. Clones tend to be crap or even missing those bits.
There's also the safety aspect.

It did for almost a year after the supercharger was installed, which Abbey Motorsport said was good going.

Spent half an hour whizzing around in my sister's Taycan S at a barbeque at my brother's house on Good Friday. Brown Boxster is mine. As soon as I got going I felt immediately at home. It does drive very much like mine. But it's heavier and you feel more inertia as a result. Maybe it doesn't feel quite as well balanced. It's quicker, though. But it's too big, and you can't flip the lid. Underwhelmed? No. I'd buy a Boxster equivalent. Taycan is coming here next weekend, so more fun to be had. I have driven a Tesla Model 3 dual motor and I think it's GVM. This is better.

Whilst the Taycan is really good I think I smell over hype on many YT videos.
Trouble is all this cars just have 4 wheels and an engine of some sort. Hard to get away from that;)

I was looking at another forum member's black Cayman S, looking rather superb. I prefer a tin top. I think I've said it is probably the only car I'd trade my BRZ in for. Cayman does drive a bit better I think and the interior cabin space is really nice to have. But on dry days above 12 degC with the blower and heated seats I need that lid down!

I rather like the look of the new Toyota GR86, supposedly an upgrade on the GT86.
It has a new 2.4l boxer engine.

Watched an American review of that the other day, they were moaning about a flat spot in the torque delivery- don't know if they get a different engine there.

The current car has a torque dip because of the manifold design to pass emissions. It's one of the first things we swap out, together with a new map that removes the dip.
The new car's 2.4l engine is supposed to have much less of a dip and more torque anyway.

Good question, is it really related to fuel delivery type? All I can say is all my injected cars (in other words, every car I've had since about 1988) have had pressurised fuel tanks with a big outventing whenever the fuel cap was opened.

Thanks. It seems engines with carburetors use vented, and those that are injection use non vented. Threw caution to the wind recently and bought a Caterham, with Rover K-Series engine. Fancy fitting a flip type petrol cap. The Aston uses a Mini locking cap, but I fancy a Monza. Nice. The Rover K-Series engine is a good design. A friend of mine had the 1.4 and it was a surprisingly nippy and smooth engine.
