Vitamin B12 methylcobalamin (not the more common type) was my absolute saving to help neuropathy go away. Before that, I couldn't sleep my legs hurt so badly. This was after chemotherapy. I still take B12. It's a wonderful vitamin. I suffer with RLS (restless leg syndrome) and was put on Tramadol for years that was the only thing that would slow me down enough to be able to get some sleep so I can relate to a curtain degree, glad you found something that works for you mate

I hated tramadol, it made me feel dizzy and spaced out.
Give B12 a try, you can get the methylcobalamin version from Amazon.

I started on Atorvastatin in April. I had my Cholestrol tested in 2010 and it was 9 I was prescribed Simvastatin, but never got to tale them as my Anti-Depressants were changed at the same time and I was advised to give those a few months to kick in. I was in a bad place and simply "forgot" about my Cholestrol "problem". I have had HBP on and off for years, but it was particularly high in March/April and so went to doc and he prescribed Amlodipine and Statins. My Cholestrol was tested again and it was 8.2. 6 months on it is down to 4.5. Initially I found exercising really hard as if I had the brakes on my cycle permanently on. Went to doc who said that my body needed to adjust to the BP meds and in time things would return to normal. Which they did/have...however she never mentioned any problems with the Statins.

I find Amlodipine only makes me momentarily dizzy when I take it first thing in the morning, otherwise no ill effects.
I will be interested in seeing my cholesterol levels now that I have given up taking statins. I really don't think I ever had a problem, it's just a precaution that diabetics are prescribed them as standard. Ah well, my quality of life is so much better without them.

I take two excellent non-prescribed drugs: NADH Coenzyme 1 (gives me energy) What brand do you take Martin ?
Lack of energy is a problem with me.
Although I am on BP medication my cholesterol is OK and my lovely Doctor has never suggested Statins.

So what do those pills do, Martin, reading about them, assume help with tiredness, energy levels, is that correct?

Exactly that, Paul. NADH helps me with tiredness and energy while B12 Methylcobalamin helps me with neuropathy.
