I'm just having a quick play of the Domine Jesu Christe and it sounds better than the file I ripped from the CD. The choral crescendi are more natural and the organ is even more potent. Qobuz wins again!
I'm so happy to have this available again.

This is quite interesting. I browsed through the Duruffle Requiems looking for one with French performers. I chose this one - it looks very French. I have this all French extravaganza on vinyl Jerry - it's with Durufle himself at the organ and with full orchestra. I've not heard it on streaming yet but will add this to my Durufle playlist.

I'm starting to haemorrhage recordings of the Durufle but got another today with Ticciati that I have saved for later - most of my recordings seem to be just for organ and choir but this has the orchestra too; not sure if it's full or chamber size. I'm hoping it's well recorded, being a Linn release.
Important to hear the work in all three of its incarnations of course.
