Psychedelic Furs - Talk Talk Talk - Playable Cover - yes really
Played by Peel once and a great mix of a great album
Cannot find it anywhere Assume this is rarer than hen's teeth and worth a lot of money. I have it on reel to reel, would like it better quality without taking on another mortgage Anyone got a clue ?

I think it was the single of 'Dumb Waiters' from that album that had that cover Mike. It was a normal 7" picture sleeve with a flexi-disc stuck on it. The flexi was a sampler from the album and there were comments from band members before each track (they were extracts of a few tracks, one of which was 'Pretty in Pink'.

Inside knowledge !
Must remember to use a thesaurus next time I search to pull in as many variables. I didn't use sleeve at all

Don't forget, if you have a sleeve or internet photo, Google can do an image search, too.

Here's another you may find more difficult.
I heard a track on Captain Ahab Peel once and *thought* he said 'Ohio Players'
Was a really great track which I mentioned to my prog/blues/rock mates, saying I wasn't sure. Made this very clear. Anyway we decided to go to an Ohio Players concert at Hammersmith Odeon. It wasn't them for sure. Looked like we were the only white members of the audience and getting some funny looks. Not our best concert
Your mission Mr. PHelps, should you decide to accept.... What was that track and who was the band ?

Was hoping someone might know. I couldn't find it online either. You could pop round of course There was a guitar riff by Fashion I knew I knew. Took me years. Eventually found it on a Jack Bruce album
