Hi Martin
What does it sound like via the loudspeaker output? Im thru with Hi-Fi & was wanting an all in one unit like this to connect up to a mint pair of 1990's KEF 'Cresta 1' i just purchased?
Also have you tried the Headphone output?

I was listening to it just earlier and it sounds pretty damned good (only let down by the shit Linn wall-mounting speakers). I'm sure it would sound better with Crestas. The headphone output sounds fine, perhaps not quite as good as my Caiman-II DAC but then that is very good. What I like about it is the wide variety of inputs: CD player, streaming from Spotify, bluetooth for phones, internet radio (can't do without Radio Paradise) and optical to run the TV sound.

I did like the Denon jobbie but had so much trouble with them in the past.
