I'm not sure Ryan air allow them as hold baggage James. Nor at this stage do I know whether I would be in the country. Kevin and I will have to have our South West (France) bake off. Or "Skype in" - as I am for my sisters boyfriend -Graham's memorial service on Sunday.

I seem to remember meeting you at the house of Andrew Randle? some years ago. He used to have a web page called The Hifi Watcher which seems to have disappeared. I hadn't thought about bringing any kit, but i have lot of home built stuff Gainclones, Mosfet Amps, Pre-Amps, Dacs, Class D.......and on... I have a nice couple of LM3875 Gainclone Monoblocks that some might like to hear if they have never heard a chipamp in anger.

I have managed to confirm I can definitely be there now after bargaining with wifey as it's my Birthday and she wanted to do something together. Are those that are bringing equipment along planning in getting special insurance to cover it or just taking the risk? The reason I ask is that I'm tempted to being along my Exposure amps but am concerned about the what ifs. Assume everyone will expect me to bring cakes How many are we thinking?
