The provenance of that rag seems to be questionable. Mention of the express in the article.

Even though I am not a practising Christian it isn't a trend I like.

I wasn't thinking of Christianity giving way to other religions, more of religions being in decline.

...or the many who claim they're agnostic "just in case"

Well, when disclosure happens, our true place in the universe will be known, and the truths, or otherwise, that religions are based on, will be known for what they really are.

The only 'disclosure' I will have is a very very long sleep into oblivion.

Not in the news, but I'll be getting more of it.
My school has been gifted a free subscription to The Economist online for all staff and students. Nice!

The Ford Capri was our first car after marrying. Two Weber downdraft carburetors on a healthy 4 cylinder motor rocked us while we lived in Colorado. We both loved the thing and cried when it was sold to a friend many years after. Can't wait to see my wife's reaction when I send her your link. Thanks!

I remember coming back from Greenwich with six others in a Capri, after celebrating the end of our exams. The police who " noticed" us were very impressed that Pete (whose mum's car it was, and no, he couldn't remember the numberplate without looking at it) managed to get seven up in a Capri. Fortunately, we were in the process of dropping three guys off, somewhere near Bexleyheath if I remember correctly, so only four of us clambered back in, and they let us get away with it. That would have been around '74 or '75. Times were much different.

It was the cool car of my childhood - in reality, a Cortina in drag. The 1.6l couldn't half move and a friend's 3.0l sounded terrific even if that engine wasn't as powerful as the figures suggested.
If they preserve the overall shape they'll have done well as our generation will all remember and talk about it.

And of course it’ll look exactly like the one from the 70’s
Capri in name only I’m afraid.

So it's going to be an SUV? WTF??
Heresy. The original was one of the coolest and most distinctive designs of its time. Always wanted one as a boy.
