This entire thread is a waste of bandwidth, but you knew it would be right from the off. What & crap like 'Show us your Turntables', 'Show us your Amplifier' threads arnt a waste of bandwith? Im sorry if i dont fit into the forums perfect world of being a sheep Some folk get some pleasure from these "show us your ..." threads - I don't get off on 'em myself, but some do. C'est la vie, and all that. This thread is Mission Bleeding Impossible. Can't you whittle yourself something suitable?

Perhaps groups of us share common interests but as for "sheep", I find that very, very rude, and condescending.
Everyone who contributed to this thread did so as an act of friendship and goodwill to help YOU find a solution to your need. Just bear that in mind dear boy.

Hey now, calm down both sides. I'm sure if we get our thinking caps on we can come up with a solution for Andr'e.
As for waste of bandwidth - we're just a forum, not exactly pushing the boundaries of scientific inquiry. Keep it real and have a little fun!

I saw the version with the card slot on the side and no USB port on eBay. Seems odd having the card slot at the side. The version in the photo is listed on Amazon - at £366, I think. Which seems a bit excessive.
I know the centre one is larger than ideal. Thought it looked smartish though. Is only $190 including shipping.
Saw a Squeezebox last night for the first time. Have to say, not something I'd have either. I'd rather have a portable. Some nice-looking ones available now.
The top one is really cheap and sports amplification.
