If we're including moons (technically I have 5 - not visible in this photo, but Jupiter is close to the horizon)

My favourite place in the world: Kamari Bay Kos: It's actually a sunrise but you'd never know

Some of the most fantastic sunsets I've ever seen were in Zambia when I was a kid. We lived on the edge of Lake Kariba and there was a show in the western sky every night. The sun always seemed huge as it went down and it went down fast! The following aren't my photos but were taken by a friend of the family. Scans of some stunning 35mm shots.

Gorgeous. I can't access all my slides of Namibia, but one day I shall scan a few shots I took myself of Zebra, Giraffes and the like.

No big game - those were lovely shots of Africa, but this still soothed the soul last night - now we have opened the shutters and have a view out of the living room again!

Cheers, Chris. I have so many from Kos it's hard to choose. The island is very narrow at the Western end that you can take incredible beach sunrises in the morning and walk a few hundred metres to get amazing sunsets in the evening.
