Walked back to my car today and Ruth said "where's your number plate?", to which I replied with some expletives.
As we approached, there it was lying tidily on the road, having come unstuck in the heat of today's sun!

My back plate fell off the other day. Looks like it had been stuck on 2 or 3 times before. Some duct tape sorted that. Needs more permanent though, what have you used ?

You need weatherproof (outdoors) double-sided foam tape. Nothing else will do.

Then I have to rip off all the old stuff. Might be better to get a new plates as this one is knackered. Think water has got inbetween the laminates

That happens. If you order new plates, you can usually buy the correct sticky mounting kit at the same time.
