The part of the world that I come from has a couple of odd laws. One of them is that the identity of a suspect in a criminal case has to be treated in a certain way in the news. One of them is that you cannot mention the surname. The other one is that any picture of the suspect has his/her eyes darkened out. In the case of pets like dogs who have bitten someone for instance, you cannot mention the name of the dog. And you have to follow the same rule when it comes to protecting the ID of the dog.
This particular dog has been accused of biting someone. He has not yet been found guilty though. The owner claims the crime was committed by a different dog.
So you get this odd picture of the accused in the newspapers:

Absolutely priceless. Difficult to imagine worse. I just assumed she's won a raffle to perform the anthem and put her abysmal performance down to nerves/panic and " her mum told her she was great". It turns out she's actually a 32-year-old country singer, named Ingrid Andress, and she had this to say about her performance.  |
