Sorry if this one has been posted before....
A husband and wife are Christmas Shopping in a very busy York . The wife suddenly noticed that her husband was missing and as they had a lot to do, so she called him on his mobile.
The wife said " Where are you, you know we have lots to do." He said "You remember the jewellers we went into about 10 years ago, and you fell in love with that diamond necklace? I could not afford it at the time and I said that one day I would get it for you?"
Little tears started to flow down her cheek and she got all
choked up…
"Yes, I do remember that shop." she replied.
"Well I am in the hifi shop next door to that."
An oldie but a goodie 😂

I'm full of movie quotes. My family gets them, because we have seen the same movies.
Favourites from 'The Castle' are, "It's the vibe," or "How's the serenity?"
I know it's Australian, but still a damn good movie.

Two that fell flat last week in Leadership meetings:
Talking about the notion of a workplace needing synergy, with common goals, and not lone sharks off on a tangent.
"Give it to Bloody Gordon!" was my response from 'There's Only One Jimmy Grimble.'
Another was setting up work teams for next year, and people doing what is expected, without constant reminders...
"Arms Clarry," from 'Strictly Ballroom.'
Which of course, both fell flat.That look of "What the hell is he on about?" is always a little embarrassing...
