Tesla I don't really know much about Tesla - but just looking at that is impressive. Looks as impressive as Ferrari World, only useful.

I'm waiting for driverless cars to be a reality on the roads. 2021 was the latest forecast I heard, so probably not before 2025. As I watch my parents, in their 80's taking things easier, and know the day is going to come when Dad has to give up driving (he has Parkinsons now), I look forward to the driverless possibility in my old age.
That and being driven back from the PMU bar in Quillan after a session with the boys

It's not something I want to see on the roads, but I'll be Canute holding back the waves. I know it's coming.

Yes, agree on Tesla. Not content with vehicles they also make solar roof tiles that look decent. Prob expensive at the moment but they will make the current solar panels (that are ugly as sin and an eyesaw on many houses) obsolete. Current solar panels are the modern equivalent of aluminium replacement double glazing.. If we can all generate most of the leccy for cars etc it will go along way to solving emissions probs. All new builds should be forced to have these types as standard ASAP. I'm not sure Tappatalk can handle putting up pictures, but here goes. encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT14b9ewuCrbPrmdfc7d5lro4EotvesWLo2T6h8TY8khdQqex0gug

The biggest item for new builds now is the insulation so a lot less need for electric
The figures being quoted for file for the seriously insulated house with heat exchangers is tiny. Ball park around a tenth.
Course we still need electric for our lovely kit

The world's first ecologically sustainable computersWe are an Irish company dedicated to creating the world’s first ecologically safe computers: the iameco range. Over the past two decades we’ve been working to create something truly unique: a sustainable, ecological, high performance computer, free from the harmful chemicals and heavy metals built into most computers. The results of that work are the iameco v3 desktop computer and the D4R laptop. iameco is a registered trademark of Micropro Computers Limited.
