Since:
1) the post which kicked off the latest to and fro spat should have been posted in a new thread rather than here
2) as the subject is irrelevant now that the problems it referred to have been overcome (somewhat)
3) the subsequent posts were beginning to escalate into a full blown bun fight
I've removed the lot.
A brief scan of the forum rules may be of assistance if anyone is in any doubt as to why this action has been taken.
