Y&T was one of my favourite bands back in the day. Saw them at Manchester Apollo and met them afterwards - very cool guys.

Adrian Vandenberg was a fantastic guitarist in the Michael Schenker school of melodic soloing - in fact saw his band supporting MSG on their first UK tour. Awesome gig. Played their first LP to death and still have it.

Pink Floyd - Animals Not the easiest PF album to get to sound good, but Dogs is inspired and has Wright's magic touch on the keyboards. open.qobuz.com/track/4108363

The pressing I have is not the best, a few crackle here and there but overall a good rendition, I always liked it anyway.

Yes a great band loved Earthshaker saw them both nights at the Marquee so hot the microphone stuck to the stage Vandenberg were a good band and agree Adrain is a good melodic player I never saw them however.

I saw them again John, about 10 years ago - think they were supporting Whitesnake.
Dave M is still fronting the band today but sadly all the other original members are no longer with us.

I gave up on them when they started to have the giant robot on stage and the music became more commercial. I had the first 2 Yesterday and Today albums on vinyl

40 years old on 30 May and it still sounds fresh, where did all that time go it feels like yesterday I was sat in my VW van at Puttsborough Sands after a day surfing listening to this watching the waves as the sun went down? Their early albums really were very good full of passion and expression. Felt like a relax, I know a lot of people pooh-pooh these guys but they actually did do some rather good stuff, all their albums are beautifully recorded and well produced, this is probably my favourite, Sirius and Bamba are also very good.
