Ooo, I like this - time to turn out the lights and put the headphones on methinks MartinT - I agree re SW, but it's definitely a grower. I liked it first play and it gets better every time. That's one thing I enjoy with his music, its constantly evolving, but it always sounds like him.

Owen Pallett - In conflict Knew this would be different when I sampled it. Certainly is. Still exploring. Needs more listening to 'get it' This seems to be the closest you can get without buying the CD Allmusic. Owen Pallett - In conflictCorrection

Aerial East - Try Harder' Martin might like this one. . . Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians - 'Hunter and the Dog Star' I do. I thought that Edie Brickell must be new as I didn't recognise it. Listening now.

The Edie Brickell is a big disappointment. Three songs in and there was no sign of the lazy Californian style breathy voice and wicked way with a line.
It's like boggo competent but not special rock, too upbeat and rocky for her style. All the magic is lost. It improved a bit from the 4th song, but I'd lost interest by then.

I wasn't so impressed with it either Martin. Perhaps a little more than you were though!
