I'm watching a DVD of 'The Last Waltz'. The last time I saw this I was in my teens. I liked it then but I'm loving it now. What a superb band The Band were.
The full 4 hours and more of the concert are on YouTube

The latest Strawbs , "Ferryman's Curse" is very good (with exception of one commercial track). Best cd they have put out in years. Back to the darker, more religious sound of the early lps - especially "Dragonfly". Actually the title track could be a continuation of the long track on Dragonfly (which, according to the website) Tony Visconti considers one of his top 3 favorite tracks ever.

Another old bit of vinyl If you have the 1st issue with the tri fold sleeve & Booklet, it was a very lavish release..

Here top notch Wakeman moves Like it, going to play this tonight on the 'big rig'. The original Studio version of "Where Is This Dream of Your Youth" was from their eponymous 1969 LP but there was no organ solo & obviously no Rick Wakeman..

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real - S/TSuper excited to have just booked to see Lukas in Whelan's, Dublin The juries out at the moment (only seen him once so far), but I think he could be the best live act I've ever seen - that's no mean feat considering how many shows I go to.
