Love this lady . . . seems country is on the menu tonight, washed down with a Bushmills Allison Moorer - The Hardest Part2000 Its an emotive album and for those that don't know Allison (and her sister Shelby Lynne) witnessed their father kill their mother, before shooting himself. This album is inspired by their parents story, not warts and all though, Shelby does that better I think. EDIT:Got this on now . . . Crows2010

Do folk only listen to albums on here? No one seems to post up playlists? Well speaking for myself Chris, I never (normally) listen to playlists or put music on shuffle play, I play albums from start to finish unless I get interrupted or don't like what I'm hearing. The only exception to this would be a party, for which I have playlists depending on the mood and audience. The linear construction and sequencing of an album is an important thing to the artists I enjoy, so who am I to chop up their work So despite being a 'digital fanboi' I listen to music in the same way now as I would have done when playing an LP, anything else just seems wrong to me. Today has been hot and involved a lot more grey matter use than normal!
So to complement a new idea I have been listening to Jimmy D Lane and Double trouble, if you like your 'real' blues then this a must for the collection, a real musician doing what he and the band do best, making superb music.
