That's weird - I have had to log in for it to appear!

There are two different image repositories associated with your board software, one which it appears is only seen by logged in staff members, which I believe is a test directory, and the other one must be "public." Martin knows all about it.

Ah, ok. Well I look forward to everyone else seeing it!

Yep, it should be fixed now.

Bah, not impressed. It takes an extra movement of my index finger to get past the blessed banner every time I go to another page. Hey, none of us are getting out alive, time is precious - and then there's wear & tear on my mouse and finger.

Gaahr. Those new banners are driving me a bit crazy. If you edit a post, you have to scroll past the bloody thing to get to the edit box rather than having it presented directly. Grrrrrrr.

Sorry about that, Jerry. The banners do smarten the place up quite a lot.
The scrolling is worse with tablets. On a PC, it's just a quick scroll of the mouse wheel or Page-Down or End or use the quick arrow to the right that we've included.

jandl100 What browser are you using, Jerry? You could use an ad blocking plugin and set it to automatically block the banners (and anything else you don't like).

I do use an ad blocker so I get uninterrupted YouTube music vids -- I still see those stoopid banners on TAS though. Using Chrome, as that works best with TIDAL streaming.

Do you mean our banners or the ProBoards ads, Jerry?

Do you mean our banners or the ProBoards ads, Jerry? The HUUUGE Classical Album Choice banner with Jules' violin at the top of this page, as an example.

Ok, that's ours. There are only two - one here and one in the other Album Choice board.
Have you tried using the 'End' key to scroll you to the bottom of any browser page?

Yes, but that takes me too far and I have to scroll back up to get to the relevant bit. I know this sounds like paltry nit-picking, but I do find it very irritating in a number of ways! If it served a useful purpose I wouldn't mind so much. Sorry.

If you're using Chrome then install uBlock Origin ( link) Once it's installed, navigate to the page with the offending banner, right click on the banner, and then select 'Block Element', then 'create'.

Jerry, how about left-click (hold the mouse button down) on the scroll bar, and then you can drag the page up or down to precisely where you want it?
