Ferrite RingsIn order to reduce audible and inaudible system noise, filter out as much hash as you possibly can. Use them on power, interconnect and speaker cables. Also use them on noise generators such as fridges, washing machines, microwave ovens and computers. Buy them in bulk, and not from a so-called audiophile company - they're the same thing and will cost less. I thought I'd give some of these a go (again). I've tried before and didn't get on with them on interconnect leads. But this time I put them on the USB cable I use for streaming between PC and DAC, at the PC end. Gadzooks & blimey! Result. Focus, imaging, clarity, transient speed all significantly improved. Put another one at the DAC end of the USB cable and another similar but smaller improvement. And another small improvement putting one on the mains cable from the PSU to my DAC.
Put some on my interconnects -- and the same story as previously, turned my lovely lively system into a pipe&slipper dirge.
So strongly recommended for some uses, but not others. Try some and see.
Thanks for the prompt, Martin!

Good advice - fit each one separately and listen for change. If you don't like it, remove and move on to the next
